Serbia keen to increase trade relations with Bangladesh
DHAKA, July 11 (BSS) - Serbia has shown its keen interest to increase commerce and trade relations with Bangladesh.

The interest was shown while newly appointed Serbian Ambassador to Bangladesh Jovan Mirilovic presented his credentials to President Zillur Rahman at Bangabhaban here today.

Welcoming the new envoy at Bangabhaban, the President said relations between the two countries took roots when the Serbian republic recognized Bangladesh in the early days.

The President urged the Serbian entrepreneurs to import various world standard goods from Bangladesh like pharmaceutical products, textile items, ready made garments and leather goods to increase the trade volume between the two countries.
